I'm gonna skipped for what happened before..

I decided to skip for all the things (good or bad) that happened and not to blog about it. I'm gonna start writing things that happend today.

Well, maybe I keep few things to mention here. Kinabalu trip was fun! Managed to climb the mountain from Timpohon to Laban Rata for 3 hours and then Timpohon to Peak in 1:40. I think that was fast!

Came back from Kinabalu, didn't do anything much except doing some daily run. Basically, life is to bored these days.. putain!!

Last week, just signed up for SC Marathon Singapore 2010 for another Half Marathon. Next week, will be going to Shanghai for World Expo and visiting some friends (esp my buddy in Kani, Jerry that has been working there since last year. He's from Taiwan, but he's my good friend in Kani) and Moment and Sunny also. Both girls are Shanghainese. Can't wait, this could be fun. I will keep on with my training for the SCKLM. Then after few days in Shanghai will be off to Beijing for few more days. Coincidently, I will meet my mom and aunty there. I booked the ticket separately long time ago.. and they decided to go, but I didn't know that we are going to be in Beijing at the same time. I'm traveling alone, while they booked with group.

Hmm what else.. oh yeah.. I did LSD (long slow distance) run this morning. Went to several palaces that I never thought that I could run there. Pretty good route. Of course I am running alone. Pretty sad but happy, as I don't have to wait or paced with someone else. I did 21.92km in 2:03'52". Lately, I'm not sure if I could get my targeted time for SCKLM 1:45 that I set myself.. after being sick with fever, cold and cough that brought me not able to run for almost 2 weeks, I couldn't keep up with my pace anymore. Before I could run 21.72km in just 1:52' and this morning with the pace, I feel slightly tired and keep on slowing down and it shown with the time there. Even I wasn't thinking of running with the race pace but still with the fatigue feeling I'm not sure on the race day would be. 24 days to go!!

Right now, I am only running with one pair of shoes since my Lunarglide which I bought in Tokyo (special edition Tokyo only version) the out sole is just flat now.. totally cannot be use for running. I had use it for 4 months with a millages of 687km! Thank God that I keep a track on every shoes that I have. So next week, I will get a new pair and this one I will use it for my training in Shanghai and Beijing. I decided to get Saucony Fastwitch 4. I'll be using this for my race in SCKLM.

About SCKLM, I met a guy from Singapore through Facebook that we going to share a room night before, around Dataran Merdeka. Seems that he's good guy.. so no worries. We've been contacting a lot since we decided to share the room. I'm ok sharing or meeting with someone over the Internet. That's what a backpacker always does. When I was traveling in Boston, I stay in this single guy house for 5 days for free plus meals. Met him over the internet, during that time there wasn't surfing couch program, i meet him through Craiglist haha.. it's dangerous but I'm still here.. Anyway, I'm comfortable to do that, I traveled all over place just meeting up people from internet.

Oh by the way, I just realised that I never actually finish my experience over the Hurricane Katrina from previous blog.. poop! I need to think what had happened during those difficult days.. I still have the Task Force T-Shirts that I worn during the humanitarian work when I came back to the city after katrina.. Gosh it's been almost 5 years.. and I still have the vivid memories about it! Miss NOLA!

And last night, I decide that, if I didn't get a job oversea again, I'm going to trade off my chef career to help out my father business and soon take over his place in 2011. And 2011 will be my year of running full marathon, that would be Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon in February 2011.

  4. You track with Daily Mile under your gear setting. Then to know how many miles you had use go to Training and then Setting.
